What we ask of drivers.
We ask anyone joining a trip to ideally raise or donate £1,000 towards the cost of a vehicle, fuel and aid, or to provide a suitable vehicle for the run. Every contribution goes directly into getting more aid to Ukraine.
We are happy to consider all offers of help - please get in touch if you can make a contribution.
After driving Borders Aid vehicles more than 2,300km to Ukraine in June 2026, I can say it was an incredible experience and that I'm deeply grateful for the warmth and kindness I received from the Ukrainian people met along the way.
Seeing the devastation caused by Russia's invasion, the homes destroyed, missiles exploding around me in Kyiv and air raid sirens ringing through the night, they have all been sobering.
This country has withstood untold suffering and I now have a greater appreciation of the brutal reality faced by a people at war for 4+ years now.
I can only encourage you to seek any opportunity to help them, whether big or small. Anything you give will not only make a difference, but truly be valued by the people you are helping.
Slava Ukraine.
